To clarify, the decision to designate specific office days (Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday) was made to address logistical concerns, primarily parking availability, which was a key concern raised by employees. These days were selected based on operational requirements and team collaboration needs, with input from relevant teams. Neither HR nor management made this decision arbitrarily.
Regarding the requirement of 39 office days per quarter, this change was introduced to facilitate better knowledge sharing, onboarding of new employees (including graduates), and overall team collaboration. Over the past three years, employees followed a gross 3-day-per-week model. Moving to a net 3-day model is a step toward ensuring a more structured in-office presence while still maintaining hybrid flexibility.
As for concerns about leave deductions, no such action has been taken yet, as we are still in the initial stages of implementation. If any adjustments are required, we will assess them carefully with fairness and employee well-being in mind.
