Pros

The kids, and families, that I worked with were incredible.

Cons

Management is rude and degrading to staff and disorganized. I have never been treated so poorly by a boss and made to feel both worthless (in his words "stupid") and simultaneously "the hero" at a job. I was yelled at, threatened to not have a job if I didn't sign contracts under duress, told not to take lunch breaks, not paid correctly for hours worked, required to take phone meetings late at night outside of paid work hours, made promises about raises and promotions that were then rescinded without warning. Unfortunately this company has created such a toxic work environment that supervisors will not stand up for their staff or provide the support that is needed to ensure staff safety and well being. I would not recommend anyone work here and endure the miss treatment from management.

Pros

The experienced colleagues are great. No weekend or late night work.

Cons

The hardest part of working here is the financial hardships caused by lack of follow through with promised hours and work. The company has little regard for informing employees of reduced or added work as personal time. Emails and texts are expected to be read and returned with no compensation for your time. Slander of employees who are not present to defend themselves is common. Someone from the company went as far as to contact an ex-employees future employer and told them she was not fit to work with children which cost her the job. Collaboration is not encouraged. Inexperience is a definite problem as is employing administrative staff (such as schedulers and those you expect face to face interaction with) from across the globe. The lack of experience in upper management with both the clinical and company side of things is evident.

Pros

Other behavior technicians you meet are great and knowledgeable, most BCBAs very experienced and the clients you work with are always grateful, kiddos progress is rewarding to see.

Cons

CEO retaliates against anyone that calls him out on inhumane or unethical treatments of staff or clients. One of my coworkers sent a message to a group chat that showed the CEO didn’t care about his behavior technicians and their struggles. It’s why I put in my resignation.
