Pros

Literally none. But at least the office is close to New Street Station so it's easy to leave!

Cons

- Unstable, angry CEO (Jonnie Evans) who loves getting young female employees really drunk at any work social occasion he can. - CEO is also very manipulative and like the review from Sept 2018 says, only hires fresh out of uni graduates/industrial placement students/apprentices so he can treat them like dirt and they will think it's normal because they have little or no real workplace experience. Other senior management staff either ignore this or join in. - No progression or opportunities to grow even though it's Discovery's big selling point when they recruit you. - Definite bullying culture with the CEO leading, as mentioned by previous reviewers. - Company doesn't value staff at all and once you've had enough they just hire another graduate or apprentice to start over again. - Seriously if you are thinking of joining this company, save yourself months of misery and go somewhere else!

Pros

They are based right in the city centre

Cons

Discovery Graduates rate themselves on caring and developing their people and growing their talent but sadly I did not see that. It is an environment where all the power is held at the top and there is clear biases behaviour. It is a small business that has the potential to grow but the approach they take is very radical and reactive. They talk a lot about their values and investing in people and how important feedback is but do not practice what they preach. It is hard to believe what they say and put your trust on them.
