This startup has it all. Great leadership + team + culture = happy customers. Everyone on the team has a clear rock that gets set each quarter and reviewed weekly during all hands. Feedback is non-stop (we're in an open office) and you're given a lot of autonomy. The founders are very transparent but metric driven so everyone knows where they and the company stands. The company has raised VC funding and has a lot of happy customers.
Cons
The early days were rocky as the product was in beta but the company is definitely in growth mode now which comes with longer hours and more exciting challenges to tackle. This is not for people who want an easy 9-5 job.

Thanks for taking the time to share your experience working at EmployUs! We want to make sure we can keep the company like this as we scale up so I'll be counting on you to help reinforce our values in our new hires and existing team. If I can ever help, you know how to reach me :)

The culture at this company is very dysfunctional. It begins and ends with the CEO Ryan O'Donnell who has no management experience much less any business being a C-level manager. The product does not deliver on the promises made by Mr. Ryan to either employee's or customers. Employee's are asked to represent a product that does not deliver what is promised. There is no opportunity to learn within this organization with an inexperienced, unfocused and undisciplined CEO. This company is a sinking ship being run by a broken rudder. The product is represented as a tool that can do more than it does which is nothing more than what exists with most current companies thus adds no value. I would highly recommend both any future employee or customer to ask for a demo of the product so that you can see for yourself instead of believing Mr. Ryan's story line. There is also no opportunity to provide positive or negative feedback as Mr. Ryan operates as an authoritative individual that just doesn't know what he doesn't know including how to maintain employee morale. Although this is considered an HR App company Mr. Ryan's management style is not consistent and would not be considered ethically acceptable in todays workplace. You are lead to believe you will be part of the team and that you will have opportunities in the success of the company. These are all false.
I've worked here for the past 5 months but feels like a year. A lot has happened but in a good way, the team has grown from 3 employees to 8, more to come! Big clients coming through and a lot of things to do, so if you want to not be bored and actually work, join us!
Cons
Be ready to wear multiple hats, if you have the expertise on something, believe me, we are going to use that expertise to help the company while we hire some folks to alleviate the workflow. Startup life.
