Pros

Financially the company itself is doing well, pulled through covid with great results, sense of job security. Carte déjeuner avec 10e par jour travaillé donc 6 à la charge de la boîte.

Cons

Horrible management and I’ve had 3 different managers, they expect people to work really late hours with no recognition or benefits. People burn themselves out and the turn over is very high. There are lots of issues of pay discrepancies between employees working the same role and with the same level of experience. HR and Payroll teams are either snakes or just useless and actively unhelpful. Your manager gives you a grade at the end of each year, whether you get a bonus or not is based on this grade. The management there is also very patronizing especially to younger employees, there are very serious issues of race discrimination at the Paris office, some of my black colleagues have resorted to hiring a lawyer to get compensation. (Which is the only way HR will at least hear you out). Any mental health benefit at this company is just smokes and mirrors,

Pros

They have fantastic pay for the position you're in, and they teach you interesting and engaging utility of modern technology mixed with legacy fundamentals. I've learned quite a bit while AmEx while getting paid more than fairly - I'd recommend a stretch here to whomever may be reading this!

Cons

The Company is huge, and at times it may take more than a little time to get recognized for your abilities and the growth you've had. There's a reason there is a "only way up is out" reputation exists for some enterprise companies...
