Pros

- Salary and perks - Amsterdam office

Cons

My experience at Booking.com Brand Marketing is, unfortunately, quite negative. Over the past couple of years, a culture of fear and dishonesty developed with the arrival of new leadership. The lack of clear direction and experience from leadership led to significant confusion and disorganization. Many talented individuals left the company or went on sick leave due to this environment. Moreover, I observed situations where colleagues who were struggling weren’t given the necessary support from HR. Instead, there seemed to be instances where HR collaborated with management to obscure issues, creating space for leadership’s personal connections to take roles for which they were unqualified. This absence of strong leadership led to internal conflicts among directors, further aggravating the toxicity and chaos within the team.
