Pros

Some of the staff are kind and helpful.

Cons

The company offered me a position as Level II Investigator for $55,000. After a few paychecks, I saw that something was not right, and after doing the math, realized that I was only making $46,000. I contacted HR and they said that yes, my pay was actually $46,000, and it was my choice to stay or leave. There was no offer to honor what I was offered by recruiting for my starting pay. They have no website or portal for investigators! Everything is done with manual paperwork and spreadsheets! And, with no investigator website, there is no place to access and print forms, releases, fax covers, etc. The investigative division is very antiquated. They have many strange rules and requirements that none of the other companies have...and claim that it is because OPM expects more from them than any other company... :-/

Pros

Great support from other team members

Cons

Communication from the Web Content Analyst lead could be improved. Employees were often expected to complete tasks with limited guidance or knowledge sharing, which made onboarding and professional development more difficult. Interactions with leadership could sometimes feel unnecessarily dismissive or discouraging, especially when employees asked questions or requested clarification on technical processes. Expectations and priorities occasionally changed without clear communication, creating confusion and additional stress for team members trying to meet deadlines and deliver quality work. Technical information sometimes felt unnecessarily restricted, which created challenges for collaboration, efficiency, and overall team growth. Feedback was not always delivered in a constructive or supportive manner, which could negatively affect morale and confidence within the team. Stronger communication, mentorship, professionalism, and a more collaborative leadership approach would greatly improve the overall employee experience and workplace culture.
