Pros

there are no postives to Capco

Cons

Zero exit opportunities. No one in the consulting or finance industry has heard of it and anyone that has doesn't respect it. Anyone who you work for isn't going to teach you anything but how to spin BS until a client signs an SOW, then you prescribe a baseless target operating model that will never be put into action. It's not uncommon for "partners" to outright lie to a client to get a sale.

Former Capco employees regularly take up new opportunities to progress their careers with other organisations on the back of the high quality skills and experience they have secured in the firm. Thankfully, most of our people are satisfied and fulfilled, and so choose to build a career internally on the basis of the access to accelerated progression, high quality work, and inclusive culture. Capco partners with some of the largest financial services firms in the world, and many of our relationships are long term partnerships that we have had over many years, testifying to the high quality of the work that we deliver, and our commitment to value and quality. Our delivery of innovative, sector-specific and leading edge solutions has resulted in strong year on year growth in recent years.

Pros

- Good work-life balance - Nice people - Cool office (Empire State Building)

Cons

- Low raises + bonuses (promotions are highly political/based on who you know) - Low mobility on certain projects - Difficult to get involved in planning/helping with community events (part of performance review) - Leadership positions competitive rates as our differentiator (i.e., firm competes on cost rather than on technical depth/expertise relative to peer firms)
