If you're lucky enough to have a seasoned manager, he/she will show guide you through the Citigroup jungle, and help empower your career. Flexible work-life balance, if you schedule and communicate well with your management is possible.
Cons
Excessive regulatory and audit scrutiny drain resources from more productive projects. You have to take charge of your schedule early on, else you will be a blackberry (aka crackberry) slave. Some evidence of old school, micromanagers still exist, although senior management is working hard to change that culture.
