Pros
They throw you right in so you can get good experience if you love a sink-or-swim environment. The staff is amazing. They are, hands down, the best part of the job--just incredible people who work so hard.
Cons
Where do I begin? This is the most passive aggressive environment I have ever worked in and I've worked a lot of jobs. Your supervisor will get upset with something and talk about you to everyone in the office except you and then give you the cold shoulder with no explanation/pull work from you/tell you that you should look into a different career path. This is a common theme--being consistently put down and treated as incompetent. There is little to no feedback on the work you do. It's impossible to improve, as there is zero guidance. When you continuously ask for ways to improve or learn, you are ignored. You're expected to reuse the same old documents over and over again (there is no value in that for baby lawyers). I cannot emphasize enough to work literally anywhere else.
