Low pay scale and toxic environment - Software Engineer ETP International Employee Review

Pros

The only positive thing is that they provide work-from-home if you’re facing any critical health issues.

Cons

Everything here works according to the manager’s wishes. If someone leaves the company, no replacement is hired — all the extra work just falls on you. The work culture is toxic. They also say that there will be two appraisals — one after completing a year and another in April — but even after combining both, it only amounts to a 2–4% hike, which is very low. The pay scale is poor, and there’s no real scope for growth here. Many employees were laid off citing AI adoption, and those who remain are being overworked under the same excuse. They keep hiring freshers and lay them off once they gain more experience. They’re always focused on cost-cutting, and the entire workload is dumped on the few experienced employees who remain.

Pros

Great work life balance. Good salary. Great vacation time and benefits. A small non profit that was slow to grow. Tight knit family organization though.

Cons

I don't have anything bad to say excep I wish they would grow into a larger company. Then they would have room for people to grow.

Pros

Individual growth as you are bound to do more than your KRA.

Cons

-Visibility is less as managers hog all the limelight. -In most cases there is no remuneration/compensation for extra efforts and will be ridiculed if requested for any. -Overall hike during appraisals are low compared the the work you have done. -Every year, appraisal is delayed and given in the month of Sept. -
