Pros

Good benefits, health insurance is free, espp program.

Cons

I landed on an incredibly toxic team led by a manipulative narcissist. Wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. A friend landed on a team without those problems.

Thank you for sharing your experience. While we’re glad you appreciated the benefits we provide, it’s disappointing to hear about the challenges you encountered with your team. At Elastic, we understand that success is a marathon and we’re in this journey for the long haul! To help us continually improving, we regularly conduct employee engagement surveys 2-3 times a year. These surveys allow us to gather feedback, identify areas of concern, and take meaningful action to improve team dynamics and leadership accountability. We value your contributions during your time here and remain focused on creating a supportive, collaborative environment for all employees. Wishing you the best in your future endeavors.

Pros

Great technology, good pay + benefits, fully remote work

Cons

Channel leadership has no connections or experience in the space and has essentially been rolled into ‘enablement’ , they have zero clue how to properly scale a channel business yet admit that’s what is needed to scale. The GTM strategy is also a mess, they say the focus this new is to solely focus on one of our three offerings, yet no plan how to scale that one offering ‘security’ only doing so because that’s where the comp is crushing us. The market is very saturated and Elastic is falling behind the competition. All of the sellers don’t trust or like the sales leadership as well and has been TONS of turnover and company wide RIF (7% of workforce) announced today. The CRO is strong but he seems checked out and waiting for the equity to cash so he can get out. CEO is also in way over his head.
