Pros
I really enjoy working with smart people and a lot of them work here. The company is very healthy, with strong revenue growth and a great pipeline of opportunity for years to come Lot of potential to learn great skills Great benefits Industry leading products
Cons
Awkward social skills/poor communication capabilities permeate the team, especially the leadership. If the leader of this team could clone himself over hiring others, he would every time. This is because he only values what he knows and has little capacity for flexibility/creativity. He loves to quote great scientific minds like Einstein, but he does not exhibit the amazing creative skills of many of those great thinkers. His first thought whenever he meets someone is if they come from McKinsey, they are smart, and if they didnt, they are an idiot until proven otherwise. Its very clear that he thinks this way to everyone. While the man has an exceptionally high IQ, the team is run in an increasingly narrow minded manner and is becoming an atmosphere where people only speak when they think they are saying something he already knows and agrees with. This can grow exhausting. Worse yet, he actually thinks this is a plus and cannot see the incredible missed opportunities due to "like think" that permeate the team.
