Pros

It all starts at the top with Bob Hohman. He is a truly inspirational leader that has created a phenomenal company culture. Every employee feels valued. There are also great perks, like the amazing office, lunch, game room, gym, etc. On the whole, the people are some of the best I have ever worked with. Very smart, engaged, and great people!

Cons

Most of my cons are related to the Sales Team. Although it is still a great team, I think the culture of the team is trending in the wrong direction. Other than a few exceptions, the management on the new business side of sales is just ok. It feels more and more like sales folks are just a number. Culturally, the team also feels more and more like a frat party these days. Some of this is a simple fact of scaling a team, but some of it is due to a lack of strong leadership.

Thank you for submitting this review. We agree - Robert Hohman is a very special CEO and has built an amazing company culture. As far as your comments with respect to the sales culture - first and foremost, thank you. We take all comments and opinions very seriously and are doing our best to scale the company without losing our identity. We are not perfect in this regard, but we are trying. Myself and the other sales leadership members have instituted things such as Sales Rep Council, Quarterly Town Hall meetings by sales group, as well as 1:1 sessions with reps to ensure that the sales team has a voice that can be heard in both public and private settings. We have made incredible changes within the sales organization - both in personnel, as well as our territories, tiers, and packages based on feedback given by the reps themselves. We are open to both feedback and criticism to make positive change in the workplace for the sales people we serve. Lastly, great comment about having sales people interview future leadership candidates - this is something that we do with leadership promotions and interviews, however we will make sure that the process is more visible to the sales group in the future. Thanks again for sharing your opinion and for your service to Glassdoor! Should you be interested in speaking directly to me, send me an email and we can set up a private time to discuss your comments in more detail. My commitment to you is that your comments and our discussion will remain private and anonymous - Thanks, Mike Harness

Pros

The benefits and culture were probably the best I've ever had. Even better than the benefits were the people I worked with. I enjoyed coming into work and doing my job and really stood behind the company tag line of helping people find jobs they love.

Cons

During covid things started getting bad. Like many other companies layoffs came around and how the company handled those were terrible. You show up one day and next thing you know you lose access and cryptic email and then your'e gone. This happened again in 2025. They brought in person whose job it was to basically get people to leave. They didn't care about the content on the site, or any of the efforts in place to promote integrity and transparency and instead just wanted to shove AI down everyone's throat. What's sad is that Glassdoor was once a great company that I was proud to say I worked for. Now it's just like everywhere else, AI, AI, AI and trying to get people to quit before the next round of layoffs.
