Pros
- Definitely looks good on your resume. Will ensure that recruiters call back if you plan on staying in finance. - Opportunity to work with teams across global regions.
Cons
- Arrogance and rudeness abound. Seen a lot as people get more senior. - People putting in lots of work don't get the same recognition as those that just play up to management. - Trying to change teams or leave is like a bad break up. Management does not handle it well. - Comp is below standard but justified because "the culture you get is like no where else" (quote from an MD on why the pay isn't better)
