      Pros

      Great perks (vacations, wfh, discounts on all Hilton properties). Working with some genuinely nice and very smart people.

      Cons

      Working with some genuinely big ego, self absorbed “pick me” try hards (especially in senior management/leadership) Excruciating use of power point presentations and unproductive, soul sucking meetings.

      Great staff and lowermanagement. Last general manager was unfriendly and not very helpful.

      Cons

      I was supposed to get long tenure status for lifetime friends of family with my veteran status. Worked at Hilton 9+ years. Supposed to get 1 year for my veteran status (according to the handbook at that time) which would make 10 years. HR supposedly turned in application in August 2024. I even followed up and was told they were working it. It's been almost 2 years and haven't heard anything yet. Very disappointed and dissatisfied. Guess I won't be staying at Hilton Hotels.
