Pros

Smart teammates and managers (some) who are still doing the right things.

Cons

If you like chaos wrapped up in the guise of innovation, welcome. In the last two years, the team has changed strategy constantly—and every pivot is a mess. Leaders are always “learning” from what they call experiments or pilots, but in reality, they’re just figuring out basic stuff they should have known before launching anything. It’s extremely embarrassing to watch and even worse to work with. Metrics are a disaster. They’re changed every year, and only shared after the period starts. Some go unreported for months. Others changed in the middle of a quarter. So good luck actually knowing how you’re performing. Management is mostly hype. Directors are all talk. Principal managers add little to no value. Most just echos senior leaders and sprinkles in catchphrases like “this keeps me up at night” or “change is the only constant.” It’s performative leadership at its finest and makes real work feel secondary. Bottom line: if you want competent leadership and accountability, look elsewhere. Most of CS and all of Services or whatever it is called now. is all flash, no follow-through.

Pros

The teams you work with are phenomenal. The knowledge combination between an internal customer facing teams, engineering product development teams, and Sales are unmatched.

Cons

Excessive use of PIPs to oust employees after multiple high revenue launches, with no explanation, actual documentation, or factual data. Reviews have been adjusted to allow for terminations post pre-approved leaves. Salaries are a joke. You are always in a cover yourself mode 24/7. Management reviews are consistently a 2 or 3 out of 5 no matter what. If a team decides you aren’t in the group, management will put you on a “unofficial” PIP without telling you, in order to surprise you at a later date. Even if they are unfounded. Beware of possibility of negative backlash post launches. They will feel the need to assign blame ( such as for timelines or issues related to bugs). Regardless of performance or level of involvement. This is an enormous company with many large paths for career advancement. But micro management is rampant, leaving little room for doing the daily expectations of your actual role. This degrades your opportunities for career advancement.
