Pros

The salary is great and they are family friendly, i.e. leave early for Dr. Appts and such. Flexible hours on holidays, overall great work-life balance.

Cons

Poor health benefits considering it is an insurance company. No room for advancement locally, you'd have to be willing to relocate. Too much favoritism, it's not what you know but who you know and get along with well. If you brown nose enough and get drunk with your boss after work than you'll be golden. Too much immature behavior by employees and management. It's a shame because the company is not bad but the management in the Orlando, FL market office has a lot of growing up to do. Complaints are made, but nothing gets done; they just gossip about it and laugh behind the backs of the people who lodge concerns.

Pros

Working from home, that’s about it.

Cons

Micromanaging, forced to help team members while you’re behind on your own caseload. Denied PTO requests, no PTO all summer and no PTO until the end of January 2027 (that’s supposed supposedly when they will be done ramping up with all their new employees.) a bunch of meetings weekly that are pointless. A weekly case conference where they are forcing nurses to present a complex case in front of over 300 people on zoom. Process changes change constantly, there are no job aid or guideline that help you make a Clinical decision but you will get out of it if you do it incorrectly. Save yourself the trouble and apply somewhere else. It is not worth it.
