This job is interesting, and fast paced. You are constantly learning to address new projects.
Cons
Your experience depends highly on the group you are in. On boarding can take a long time, but it is worth it to get a decent background before starting as a contributing member on a team. I was never told in interview process that there would be on call, but that is a huge part of this position.
