I worked here for nearly two years, and my experience was deeply disappointing. The company projects the image of being a well-run financial institution, but in reality it often felt disorganized, reactive, and focused only on hitting short-term targets rather than building a supportive, sustainable culture. During my time there, I faced a serious health issue that required major surgery and time off work. Rather than receiving empathy or structured support, I felt that my absence was viewed as an inconvenience. There was no proactive communication from HR, and I discovered later that there wasn’t even an occupational health process in place to help employees transition back after extended sick leave. What made things even more uncomfortable was realizing that members of management had been monitoring my personal social media while I was away. Posts that were months old — things I was sharing while recovering — were apparently discussed in the office in a judgmental way. It was upsetting to learn that what I thought were harmless personal posts were being scrutinized during a time when I was already dealing with a difficult recovery. When I returned, there was no communication from HR and the overall atmosphere made it clear that my future there was uncertain. It seemed that plans for my dismissal had already been set in motion before I even came back, despite the company knowing I was undergoing fertility treatment. That experience made me feel that compassion and fairness were not part of the company culture. I’ve worked with organizations that truly care about their people’s wellbeing — where leadership actually listens and supports employees through personal challenges. This company, unfortunately, was the opposite. If you value empathy, inclusion, and a healthy workplace culture, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere.
