Pros
- Work-life balance (2 days work from home per week; If you don't want to work overtime, you don't have to) - Caring & understanding work culture within the HK office - If you hit the target, the salary is not bad
Cons
- Young management (with mostly joining Odoo as their first/ second job), and all management are promoted internally. As a result, strategies for sales, training, and employee retention is premature. No one is knowledgeable enough to bring in real strategies. - The "strategy" for making the office hit sales target is simply to increase salespeople's target. How to do it is simply depending on the salespeople. - Training is very basic (no proper training about the industry-level topic/ competitor analysis) - Most people don't feel like the company has any strong branches (mature leaders & strategies) as support, people are simply figuring things out on their own. Everyone feels like training is not enough, management is green and just operates like a very basic start-up company. - Demo database is empty. If we want salespeople and partners to sell easily and a lot quicker + better, Odoo needs demo databases by industry level.
