Pros

Good insurance benefits for full timers, 15% employee discount, 40 hours vacation time and increases after 3 years

Cons

Limited room for upward mobility especially since new ownership of company, understaffed with too much work coming in from corporate, training is not always proper for new employees due to limited staff, corporate office only looks at numbers and sales and not the quality of work life for employees, many policies designed to keep PetSmart being a company that values pet care over money have been eliminated

Pros

If you have experience they can pay very well considering the size of the company. Depending on which store you are in, they can be pretty good at fostering a good environment and culture.

Cons

Company is primarily focused on sales and not customer experience. So expect a lot of metrics and hounding customers. Company is trying to be technologically forward but continues to neglect to invest in the technology. So there’s updates every week crashes every week with no communication around it.
