Pros

Knowledgeable Division Director who has been there 15+ years and I am lucky to be surrounded by a very senior staff who can mentor me through every scenario I have encountered thus far.

Cons

Not for the faint of heart. This is a hard-core sales environment at it's finest, definitely be prepared to work long hours and your life will revolve around the phone. This should be no problem for you at all if you are truly a sales professional, that is the name of the game in any sales role. If you don't think you can handle that I suggest you look at other opportunities.

Pay was not the best, and there is no option of being hired on, due to the company closing down the department

Without a willingness to listen to feedback and embrace new approaches, there is a real risk of causing lasting damage to the company's reputation, employee retention, and long-term competitiveness.
