Pros
I was fortunate to work with a team of skilled and supportive colleagues. my direct managers were knowledgeable, approachable, and genuinely cared about the teams well-being and professional growth.
Cons
Lack of Job Security - The company when through an RIF that impacted many top performers. this created a sense of insecurity and uncertainty to those remaining. Leadership Turnover - There was frequent turnover in leadership which led to a lack of consistency and understanding of the companies direction. Project Mismanagement & Silos - On multiple occasions, my team started large projects only to discover that another team was working on a project with the same goal - ultimately competing against one another without the other knowing. This duplication of efforts created a lot of wasted time & burnout. Silod Teams - teams need to communicate better. Often times there will be important collateral or changes published and no one would know besides that team. teams need to leverage enablement to get their stuff in front of reps. Lack of Career Growth - Limited opportunities for career advancement. I found it challenging to picture myself there long-term.
