Pros
Very process-driven, if you can hang on for a bit, you will quite honestly build more competence, which can be transferred to your next role, should you choose to resign (which will be the case, just a matter of time). The friends you make here will make it more bearable to show up to work. The location offers plenty of restaurants, so that's pretty alright. Pantry is always stocked, so if you want to be more financially disciplined, you can spam the stuff in the pantry. And ya, Macbooks, lol, you will outgrow it,
Cons
Where do I start haha. Maybe to simplify it, life in this company can be turned into a Netflix documentary, and not the good one. Management looks at employees as foot soldiers, not e-sports players, let's be honest lol. There is a saying that there is no good CEO, and that they can be quite aggressive, ya, this one is just built a bit differently. There is no mercy, and yes, I do agree with another person's review. It is mostly an endurance game here; to operate here, you must lose your happiness and soul, but ya, e-sports player things, we were warned, so I guess it's on us too. If you are going through some unfortunate things in life and it is affecting your work, my advice is, good luck. You will need it, like seriously, I am not joking. When I was here, I had to go to the hospital multiple times, and I didn't sleep well for more than 6 months. I left because I couldn't believe that a young person like me could have multiple health scares within a year. If you do not perform, get ready to be anxious and receive multiple 1-on-1 chats with your team lead. If you are starting to lose your grip and you do not have the drive in you, my advice is just to pack it up and start thinking about how you want to exit; you'll be better off. Oh, be prepared to lose the connections/friends you've made here because of internal politics or even rumours. So ya if you are thinking of joining this company, remember these key words: foot soldiers, endurance, process, lifeless, and the most important one, YES. If you can say yes to everything, you will be able to survive here. If not, learn as much as you can and be really good at it. Other companies will come looking for you, trust. I'd give 1 star, but I gained some valuable skills here, so 2 is fair.
