Pros
If you're having trouble finding work, TTEC is always there. All the team leads I have worked with have been supportive, patient, and kind. My work has been recognized and shared with others to improve efficiency. Some of my tools were still in use after I left.
Cons
Not available in some states. Being outsourced means your role is not guaranteed permanent, though they do their best to give notice and find you another role if the contract is coming to an end. Sometimes you are assigned a schedule without warning, that may be effective the very next day. If it conflicts with your other commitments, you can either wait possibly several days to weeks to get reassigned, or quit. Those are your options. If you don't smoke, and intend to get health insurance through TTEC, make sure you find out when, where, and how to get tested for nicotine; because you will have to do it every single year before the deadline. They have a biweekly surcharge of almost $50 per person if you do not provide a negative sample at the beginning of the year. And the surcharge does not stop if you take the test subsequently.
