Pros
Salesforce (Tableau parent company) make an effort to make the working experience comfortable and to follow a certain flow. It's well structured with a clear reporting framework and given they're the CRM leader, all work goes through a well managed interface, the Salesforce platform. You'll still use all the other resources too, like Slack and backend resources. The offices themselves are quite nice and well provisioned, although there's no food served on site. The reporting structure is well managed, with clearly defined direct reports and access to lateral teams. It provides very smooth working conditions.
Cons
Upper management likes their personal projects and can sometimes be unclear with the timelines. You get things like a top level requirement for all employees to attain a specific ranking in an in-house training tool that has no overlap with certifications in broad technologies or fields. You spend days attaining a rank from assorted trainings that serve no purpose outside the company, so that the company can say "look, all our employees have X rank in our training tool". They give you several months to complete this, and then change the timeline to say, "actually it's due next week."
