Pros
There is opportunity for career growth if you are extremely dedicated and have exceptional people skills. This particular position is much better than the personal banker I position. The base salary is much better, and the quarterly bonuses are considerably better. And the bonuses are a lot easier to hit as a Business Specialist as opposed to even a Personal Banker II position. In my opinion this is one of the best positions within the wells fargo retail bank.
Cons
Management feels like the best way to get the most out of their employees is to give them unrealistic goals in hopes that when their sales staff fall short the numbers will then meet the actual sales quotas. Also, any position in the retail bank is hardcore sales. What makes it most difficult is that there are daily sales quotas. So when you have a great sales day, it is immediately forgotten the following day.
