Pros
1) We work with a wide range of big named customers so despite being a smaller business with the benefits that brings it can still feel like you are working for a much larger organisation. 2) Rapid growth means there are continuous opportunities to shape the business and the way things are done: it is gratifying to see things improve and develop. 3) The business has hired and continues to hire at pace many very capable people and so work colleagues often bring a lot of experience with them that you can more direct access to than you would at a larger business. 4) Software applications which improve / automate processes is a growth sector and that brings with it a sense that you are part of the future and a feeling of security. 5) Even in a support role it is gratifying to see labour savings and productivity improvements achieved for our customers using the product - in general I enjoy working for companies with great products that I can identify with at some level and Xceptor has been no exception to that.
Cons
There are none really. You may be visiting a problem for the first time and need to be willing to devise a process in addition to simply getting the job done. Workloads are mangeable but you will need to be able to look at and turn things around very quickly.
