Pros

- Decent product if sold to the right client - ok culture

Cons

- below average salary - poor benefits - aggressive sales culture that sell poor fit deals with zero accountability - difficult to get good talent because of low salaries - product is ok, but not as great as the company thinks it is. Too easily replaceable

Thank you for taking the time to leave us feedback and we appreciate you trusting us with your career for many years. In a crowded marketing technology space, it is of utmost importance for us to know our ideal customer and provide value to them in any way possible. As a company with offices all across the world, salary and benefits can vary greatly based off of the region and government regulations. While we appreciate a healthy amount of competition within our sales organization, we do not want to create an environment that has a negative effect on our overall culture. If you would be willing to leave us additional feedback, feel free to reach out at hr_hq@emarsys.com. -Emarsys HR Team

Pros

Nice colleagues to vent with about the nonsense that exists.

Cons

Most people don't actually work and B.S. through QBRs, revenue calls, etc. Leadership shows favoritism and success is 95% dependent upon accounts. Marketing is a JOKE! Companies still don't know who Emarsys is after years of wasted marketing dollars (talk to the CMO for two minutes and you'll immediately realize the problem). Very few knowledgeable solution experts, and several are just taking up space - literally a waste of resources (again, talk to their leader and you'll pinpoint the problem). The platform itself is limited and SAP is driving a wedge between the overall partnership. Very few shared accounts with broader SAP and resentment amongst revenue generating teams is the norm. Constant lies to cover up the writing on the wall. No direction from the top down - blind leading the blind.
