Pros

Benefits are not just medical, Energage has work/life balance, supportive team members and leaders and paid time off for the week between Christmas and New Years (company wide shut down), in addition to regular vacation time. Approachable and supportive CEO and Senior Leaders leading by example with our values, HOT, (Helpfulness, Open-mindedness, Teamwork). Helping companies creating positive culture truly following our mission, “Making the world a better place to work together” is a strong part of the culture and practiced daily.

Cons

As the company size increases, the need for additional conference rooms, larger and smaller, is increasing. It would be nice to have more options.

Pros

The company has a great product and their product team continues to advance the organization in the culture tech field.

Cons

With the organization being a growing company they just haven’t found a great process to replicate yet. This leads to confusion and moving targets.

Pros

Sr. leadership and leadership team work really hard to make this company what it is and it is extremely obvious even from day one. Employees and clients both are cared for and they have a voice. Training, company lunches, company huddles, weekly newsletters, manager check ins help employees know what is going on. Mission and values are awesome as well. Totally laid back culture- they even had a PJ day! WHPH (Work Hard Play Hard) committee is super fun. Work life balance is good, 4 weeks vacation right from the start. Lot of fun, motivated, and helpful people.

Cons

Workload and pace is very fast paced. Very little down time. Relatively flat organization, advancement opportunities may be limited. Old school sales techniques with cold calling.

"You are a little behind on technology/social media/branding so it would be nice to see more of this..." - how right you are! Social Media offers massive opportunity for engagement. Resources are now in place and we're pushing forward.

Pros

Energage is a truly mission driven organization, and a certified Benefit Corporation (B-corp). For employees who want to know they're having a positive impact on the world, Energage is a very good fit. Additionally, since the company's business is finding ways to improve other company's cultures, the culture at Energage is second to none. Within my portion of the company, which deals with the technical underpinnings of the SaaS products, it's amazing to see how modern the infrastructure really is. Any .NET developer would be very pleased to work with such a stack. There are numerous additional pros, including the fact that Energage, more often than not, tends to promote internally rather than hiring new employees.

Cons

There are very few cons to employment at Energage. Employees who are not fond of moving at breakneck pace, or being open to change, may have a hard time adapting to the agile nature of Energage.

Pros

learning opportunities within an interesting industry

Cons

As a company who is trying to crack organizational culture, they are completely failing at their own, It’s toxic. Picture a senior team that is misaligned and therefore leaving mid level managers to make real business decisions that they are not qualified for. The only problem is, several of these mid-level managers are dishonest, immoral, and unprofessional. Favoritism is at an all time high, and the leadership team protects it constantly. Between managers gossiping about team members/picking favorites to inappropriate in office relationships with managers, you might want to steer clear. If you are in a minority group: run.
