Pros

Co-workers were great, and that is about it.

Cons

Micro management, incompetent management, no employee recognition or gratitude for jobs well done. Lack of direction. Employee turnover (voluntary) is above industry standards. Work environment is extremely poor with dirty paint on the walls and stains on the carpet. Health insurance policy is one of the worst I have ever seen. Company is now partially owned by NTT Japan who only knows that the financials are getting progressively worse without knowing the root cause. Current management is running what use to be a good company into the ground. There is no room for growth unless you are one of the chosen few and if you are encouraged by management to excel there is little time to work on what you need to do to advance due to the excessive work load. After Kaizen training which was paid for by a grant from the state of MA, the new company theme is to "do more with less" which is not the Kaizen philosophy. After the state spent thousands of dollars on this training, very little of the training has been put into practice.

I apologize for the delay in EEC becoming active on Glassdoor. EEC is certainly undergoing a transformation and we acknowledge this has become a popular site for employees to provide job candidates feedback on the changes that are occurring here and their employment experience. This is very important feedback for EEC and I want to thank folks for taking their time to comment. We are sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations and am surprised by your perspective on our organization. At our 2017 Kick Off meeting, employee engagement was outlined as a priority and we have continued to collect data through meetings with employees and the "lunch with the president" initiative. I have found these meetings to be very insightful and allow me to educate employees on the rationale of various decisions the organization makes. I will continue to conduct these session and encourage all employees to share any questions or concerns they may have with me or any member of management. Jim

We want to thank you for taking the time to provide us feedback about your experience and we are sorry to hear how poorly you feel. I noticed you referenced the term "lucky". I can only assume this was based on my vision and experience with EEC. I did present that "luck" is the culmination of personal preparation and opportunity. I have a concrete vision that EEC will invest in those employees willing to invest in themselves and help them be ready for future roles in the company. Again thank you for the feedback and I wish you the best on your future endeavors.

Pros

I have been able to learn and grow so much working at EEC. Through my employment here in 6 years I have had the pleasure of working in parts sales, dispatching and program management. There are many helpful people that have guided me and coached me through each new position. I have started back at school to work toward my BA in Business Management and this year I was able to attend a leadership conference that EEC lined me up with. As we have grown throughout the years there have been some good opportunities for growth in different departments.

Cons

Not that I view this as a downside but some might, in this industry you have to be able to deal with ebbs and flows of work. There are times where I can't remember to eat lunch because we are so busy which is the pace I happen to work really well at and then there are times where I find myself not focused because work is slow.
