Pros
Fairview was my first step in my career ladder after the pandemic, I was nervous young F&B assistant but I was nurtured and mentored by three of the best GMs and two exceptional Operations Managers. The Team in my Hotels were friendly and I always felt comfortable to approach Management with any issues that arose. I was promised a move to Front Office and this happened swiftly then I was progressed to M&E Coordination which I truly loved. I very much miss my job at Fairview and if I was offered to go back, I absolutely would. You also get food on shift, a great work/life balance and you can claim uniform expenses.
Cons
I would have liked to have been closer with Central Office in Stevenage and participated in more Sales activities but I was very junior in my role. Some Hotel infrastructure could be improved for guest satisfaction.
