Pros

The fact they have a 80 year history that positively began with Dr George Gallup

Cons

1. They will fire you the first chance they get thanks to valuing only peoples opinions who have been there 30yrs 2. They are broke and not profitable; their offices look great...thats about it 3. Its all about revenue with zero care how you bring it 4. No one really likes each other 5. No one will help you 6. Whatever they say to clients they do not practice themselves 7. Bosses only care about themselves though they may ask you the q12 questions as formality 8. Do not join them They look good on the outside Its poison on the inside You will die a natural death

Once Great Now Out of Date

Pros

Great science about behavioural economics - once leading edge and at the forefront of human capital. Uncompromising standards about data integrity. Great products like StrengthsFinder, Q12, SRI selection tools. Treated employees well in the old days. Experience was treasured.

Cons

Today a sad story of bad people management. Lost too many stalwarts at Singapore office. Local client accounts have mostly left as well as a result. Once a shining star in the region, today, it is lagging behind.

Pros

Gallup has good books that provides indepth insight on their range of products. Organizations can apply many of the tools and incorporate it to their existing culture.

Cons

When it comes to practising what they preach however, there is vast disparity. Consultants are too young to cut it. Some senior consultants rehash a lot of bumbo-jumbo, but no practical solutions. They appear to perform, but sometimes lost the plot. The impact provided by previous ex-consultants were significant and of a different level.
