Do not work here!

Pros

Not one pro about this job.

Cons

Please do not let these people fool you into thinking you can make a decent living off this job. They keep putting on here they offer a base + commission. THEY DO NOT. They lend you a base of about $250 after taxes if you do not make sales that week that you have to pay back to the company. You stand in a Walmart and try to get people to switch to Verizon. While most people now just have internet and some form of fire stick, sling, etc. The meetings are pointless and they repeat themselves on a weekly basis. The biggest waste of time 100%. Do not take a position here.

Pros

- cool and mostly nice people/staff to work with - opportunity to move-up in the company (see cons) - paid weekly (see cons) - mostly helpful management - strong values for hard work and hard fun

Cons

- you either make the weekly base pay of $300 (less than that after taxes) OR your commission money for the week (assuming it is over $300). - your role/position in company is not well-described during interview process. you'll learn the glamour of advancing within the company, but not enough about the entry role. - you're going to Walmart for a living unless you're promoted several times up the ladder. - No current health, dental, 401k, etc. benefits - "you make your own schedule" isn't really true. you're expected to work 40 hours a week, so, generally speaking, you're at Walmart from 12PM to 8PM. you are allowed the freedom to choose whichever 2 days of the week you prefer off, however.

Thanks for the feedback! I'd definitely like to address some of the cons / advice to management you offered: - Schedule: The project you were on is one of a few. Yes, we do require a 40 hour work week like most full time roles. Our team members are able to choose their 2 days off, as well as working either a traditional 9-5 or the 12-8 schedule. If the "make your own schedule" was misleading...our apologies! - Entry Level role: We allot around 15-20 min for Q&A in our 2nd interview so that we ensure the good / bad is all on the table before we finish. However, I'm happy to work with our team to ensure we're properly answering questions from candidates! - Benefits: As a newer company, we were not offering benefits. However, in Q4 2017 we did introduce a 401k plan, etc to make our company a better place to work! As we grow, we plan to add more incentives to ensure we're able to compete aggressively for top talent in the marketplace. Thanks for the feedback! - Landon
