Pros

They're so lazy about hiring, so hesitant to offer anyone growth opportunities that it's nearly impossible to be fired

Cons

if you're a "useless" employee, in their minds just a body, not holding the right title, there aren't any growth opportunities for you, not even training, don't buy what they sell at the orientation. Your enthusiasm to help will be abused, you just become the person tasks fall to, and eventually you're responsible for them. You can be doing work above your pay grade all along but then you're told you're not qualified to hold the position you've been doing the work for. There is no leadership, high ranking employees are rarely visible or present. A lot of responsibility is left on the lower ranks, and the untrained, poorly compensated bunch get blamed when the banana republic eventually screws up, in a way that reveals all the corners being cut.

Pros

You can drive the individuals(patients) out for the day with company van.

Cons

The best supervisor I worked with quit, then lots of other staff quit. Management pretends to care for the individuals. Any little thing management find fault quick to blame staff but Supplies were not stocked, days without food in the fridge. Managers came in one day out of the week and spoke with nasty attitudes, no greeting or good compliments from them. Days with no gloves, paper towels or soap. Horrible unprofessional experience. $11/hr is not worth taking care of these sickly individuals cooking, cleaning, doing their laundry, lifting them, bathing them restraining them when they’re out of hand and No security. Every day was a new policy. And new budget cuts, left some people to work two days out the week with bi weekly pay. How can anyone survive? Terrible company
