The global management seems to be clueless on how to run a global firm. The context, challenges in non US countries is different and they need to understand this if they want to grow the business
When the outlook is not good there seems to be a strong sense of panic and frantic. Everyone is asked to sell more (the what) without clear direction on the how (changes in how we operate to optimize sales etc) and more roadblocks of layers of approvals + constant back and forth of trying to explain context to people who clearly doesnt have any clue of what they’re doing (finance people) makes effort in growing the business is close to impossible
The firm seems to value their finance people more than its top Partners/Performers.
I have worked in 3 global consulting firm prior to this who have at least double the size of KF, and never see a firm being manage with such a strong sense of frantic + no empowerment to the people who actually generate business to them.
