Pros

There are zero pros when working at KryptoKloud.

Cons

A disgusting company to work for ran by an incredibly vile CEO. The CEO, Paul, regularly lies to new clients, vastly overselling the companies capabilities. Then the analysts are left to deal with his lies. He told a top client we have over 100 analysts, which is simply not true, there are less than 10. The 24/7 "eyes on glass" offering is also another lie from Paul. There are simply not enough analysts to provide this service, yet the clients think this is what they are paying for. Instead, overnight, one analyst is on a "sleeping duty" at home, and only has to respond to calls. Detections during this time are not monitored or responded to until the morning. Incredibly high staff turnover, all because of the CEO Paul and how despised he is. He is the sole reason everyone leaves. This is then dressed up as "growth" on social media, which is simply more lies. Paul is a truly horrible person through and through. He is a literal tyrant with the emotional range of a 5 year old. The rating would be a zero if this was possible but had to give a one. Thinking of working here? Don't! Thinking of doing business here? Don't! Currently do business here? Find a new SOC ASAP.

Again - another FALSE REVIEW - created by the 3 Bad Apples who were invited to leave KryptoKloud in Q4 2021. Please move on in to your new roles at COMTACT and TEMPEST - Your HR Departments will be informed of the defamation attempts and also the breach of Employment Contracts. Please be more concerned about your immediate futures than the past where you lacked the Integrity, Professionalism and Passion to work for such a great Cyber Security company.

Cons

I had not initially intended to write a Glassdoor review. I had instead opted to put this unfortunate chapter behind me as a final gesture of goodwill towards the organisation. However, my outlook on this changed significantly around a month after I had left when the CEO resurfaced from the woodwork in an effort to make my life difficult. It transpired that some of the other staff that had left towards the end of the year had left largely negative reviews about the company, for which he blamed me. Without any effort to confirm any involvement on my end, the CEO began taking legal action against me for a “defamatory” review that he simply presumed I had written. This evidently wasn’t sufficient for the CEO as he then began to pester my family with messages in an effort to remove the review - all while completely unwavering in his assumption that this was all my doing. As if this wasn’t ridiculous enough, the CEO then decided to reach out my current place of employment in an effort to stir up trouble in my new role. Aside from this being a ridiculous response to a widely established platform for employee feedback, the obsession with censoring any negative feedback creates an environment where current and past employees feel unable to raise genuine issues with management. For some unknown reason, the CEO appears unable to let staff leave on good terms and instead opts to burn bridges as aggressively as possible. Although I was at the time the longest-serving employee at KryptoKloud, this reaction was only intensified towards me. Immediately after having handed in my notice, the CEO’s behaviour towards me became immature and bizarre. The CEO stopped speaking to me directly whenever possible and would instead ask whoever happened to be seated next to me to pass on a message. Whenever encountering me in passing, he opted only to scowl at me and refused to say a word. This childish response would have likely been upsetting after having worked for such a long time at the company if it wasn’t also both absurd to the point of hilarity and overwhelmingly re-affirming that I had made the right decision. While I never got a particularly comprehensive explanation for this odd behaviour, the rest of the management suggested this was just the CEO’s way of showing that he was “hurt” that I was moving on, leaving them to awkwardly apologise on his behalf. While KryptoKloud has the usual challenges around manning, training and retention that all SOC environments have to face, these issues are amplified by the obstacles posed by the bizarre temperament and vindictive nature of the senior management which are unique to the organisation.

Pros

Other than the office decor, there is nothing positive about working for KryptoKloud.

Cons

Words cannot describe the level of anxiety and depression I experienced working for this company. And using the term "company" really isn't an accurate representation of this place because I'm surprised it is still trading with the bad reputation they are starting to gain and because of the high level of staff turnover. The business is run by a bully who has no regard for anyone else's professional or personal life. He seems to enjoy making people feel small and humiliating them in front of the rest of the team. Leadership lies and takes advantage of their customers, expecting the honest team members who work there to follow suit. The company focuses on making their brand look good externally but in reality, the culture internally is toxic and almost life-threatening due to the mental impact that working here actually has on you. I really would encourage anyone to avoid working here at all costs. Even if you really need the money, please try and seek alternative employment because you will regret working with the CEO.
