Pros

Remote work, everything else was negative. The best day was leaving the company for another opportunity.

Cons

Working at League was a nightmare due to the toxic leadership and culture that permeated the organization. From the outset, it was evident that employees were undervalued and subjected to an atrocious environment. The poor leadership demonstrated a complete lack of guidance and direction, leaving employees feeling lost and frustrated. Decision-making was haphazard, leading to confusion and disarray among the staff. The toxic culture fostered backstabbing and undermining was commonplace, stifling the talents of capable individuals. Additionally, the leadership exhibited toxic behavior, prioritizing their own status over employee well-being. Communication was lacking, transparency was non-existent, and career growth opportunities were limited, based more on favoritism than merit. Overall, League is a place to avoid if you value a positive work environment and professional development.

Decent company, terrible growth potential

Pros

Pay is decent, people are awesome, good culture.

Cons

Avoid this company if professional growth is a priority. Advancement is not based on performance or merit, but on favoritism. Talented employees often leave due to lack of opportunity, only for the company to backfill the roles they were seeking. Those serious about career development should look elsewhere.

Garbage Company

Pros

At least you get paid!

Cons

Favoritism! It's one of the biggest assets of this role is understanding you need to be cool with upper management and ensuring they like you, otherwise why are you even trying?! There wouldn't be a point. Good thing I'm upper management or I would absolutely hate it here. The people and culture team are also paid to sit around and do absolutely nothing. They have no consideration for the well-being of employees, not to mention the absolutely horrendous interview process we have at our company. I only got in because my uncle used to work here, otherwise I would be in trouble considering we only look at internal hires and referrals.

Pros

The company allows you to work from home

Cons

Bad behavior such as manipulation, turf wars, gaslighting, bullying, yelling and so on are so embedded in the company culture resulting in a low morale, lack of trust, high stress, favoritism, sexism and infighting have become the norm.

Pros

company actively monitors social accounts to remove comments that may expose the business

Cons

This is a very toxic work environment with poor retention rates, frequent layoffs and no room for criticism. Shady leadership that endorses bullying, retaliation, favoritism, gaslighting, censorship, harassment and bigotry. Avoid this company at all costs.

Notoriously toxic with no signs of improvement

Pros

A steady paycheck but nothing is guaranteed if you look at the company's history of layoffs

Cons

Pivoting is a very common buzzword to describe the state of confusion at this company. There are lots of unproductive cliques across various departments, these are mostly rejects from a previous company who have bundled together to promote internal politics, doing the d!rty work behind the scenes and recruiting people with similar toxic tra!ts. Bullying, favoritism, gossip and harassment is the order of the day and this is quite obvious in the interviews, if you ask the right questions. I do not recommend wasting your time with this company.

Pros

remote work allows you to work from anywhere but it comes with a lot of monitoring and micromanagement

Cons

This is a wrong time to join this company. There is too much going on and teams are running very lean, meaning they are doing more with less and this affects your work life balance. Management is not transparent, promising strong growth in townhalls only to lay off employees a few days later. Favoritism and gaslighting is also quite prominent at League. Not sure if this is a health tech company, a health OS or a benefits company, you wouldn't get a consistent answer if you ask. The best testimonial should come from the employees and some of them don't even use League's product.

Great culture, could use better management

Pros

Great work culture, great work and life balance, and great benefits.

Cons

Could use better management in the content side of the business. Much of the content is very technical and not user-friendly for every day audiences. Don't take it seriously when you are told "please tell us if there is anything we can improve on with our approaches" because they don't actually mean it. Just do as you're told even if it doesn't make sense from a content standpoint. Seems like many of the content managers/writers were ex-aetna employees, which kind of gives a bit of favoritism on how others on that team are treated.

Pros

- Incredible technology with great potential - the individual contributors in sales, marketing, product are amazing people - PTO policy is flexible - Part of Workday Ventures (maybe we can get bought out)

Cons

- Executive Leadership has not exemplified empathy or concern about our workforce (watched a couple great people depart by choice and being outed) it will be a costly choice once they realize when it's too late. - The product/development team are struggling to scale up the technology to where it needed to be for us to be competitive outside in our market. We should remain as a strong differentiator - Value prop is continuously changing - Watched sales leadership try to redefine how to even run a sales cycle and redefine it in more of a confusing way - CEO who is generally liked is more hands off and trusting which means he isn't really aware of what's going on. - favoritism is quite prominent - promises without execution is being noticed by teams across the org - slow growth, our headcount is barely changing - internal bullying by leadership to PUMP UP GLASSDOOR REVIEWS so we attract top talent. A Terrible Mistake

Pros

Isolated pockets of decent souls.

Cons

Men and women brought to tears in large group meetings. Relentless gaslighting from the highest levels. Blatant favoritism, not based on work ethic or talent. This place is so bad people quit outright, with no other job lined up, in this market!
