      Pros

      Solving a very important problem and the customers love the product. Technology is fascinating and a very dedicated team. Founders really know the industry and technology well.

      Cons

      Company missed some important milestones creating a high stress environment in 2017. Cleanout of some old mgmt largely solved these issues. Challenging industry overall.

      Pros

      Of the 5 startups I worked at this one had the best management and a good work life balance, a rare combination in Silicon Valley. The company has a cool ambitious mission and a good easy to get along with team. Central San Francisco location is a plus for some.

      Cons

      Central San Francisco location is also a burden for some. The office could be a little bigger.

      -Everyone that works here is extremely motivated and intelligent in their field -Very close-knit team that works and communicates well together to try to solve one of our generations biggest challenges in food production -Agility in product development that is rare in other ag-tech companies -Exciting tech development in computer vision, machine learning, and imagery analytics as applied to resource and time management in global agriculture

      Cons

      -Cyclical industry, summers mean long, intense workdays -Very fast-paced environment and strategy can turn on a dime, so you have to be prepared to change gears quickly
