Pros

Opportunity to work on government projects, which can offer exposure to large-scale planning and public sector processes.

Cons

1. Unfair Work Hours The official working hours are Monday to Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. However, employees are often expected to stay late until 9–10 p.m. without any overtime compensation. There are instances where employees are called in to work full days on Sundays and are compensated with only half-day pay. Moreover, if you leave on time or slightly early, you might be held back the next day without justification. 2. Poor Management Structure The management system is highly disorganized. Employees often have no clear point of contact for resolving work-related or system issues. There's no proper HR structure — most matters are handled directly by the chairperson, creating confusion and inefficiency. 3. Toxic Work Culture The work environment is highly stressful and lacks structure. A few senior employees are treated as indispensable; their resignations are countered with salary hikes, only to be overloaded with work later. Employees may be assigned to multiple projects at once, including ones they were not originally hired for, leading to unrealistic workloads and burnout. 4. Unreasonable Leave Policy Only one casual leave is granted per month, with no provision for sick leave. The company follows a "sandwich leave" policy, meaning if a holiday falls between two leave days, all are considered leave. Emergency leaves, even for medical reasons, are often penalized with salary deductions — none of these conditions are transparently mentioned in the offer letter. 5. Delayed Salary Payments Salary is typically delayed. For example, wages for the 1st to 30th of a month are only paid around the 11th to 15th of the following month — effectively making employees work for over 1.5 months before receiving a single month's pay. 6. Unethical Notice Period Practices Although the offer letter states a one-month notice period, at the time of resignation, the company often demands a three-month notice. Additionally, final salaries, sometimes for two full months, are held back arbitrarily, making the exit process extremely difficult.
