Putting this here to help anyone who are considering to take up a role in Malaysia office. TLDR: DON'T! Yes, every agency or company has its own challenges BUT management in Malaysia office gives you 0 support in all/every aspect. The picture painted and promises during interviews were very different and empty promises. There is no work life balance if that is what you are looking for (after work hours, your leaves, public hols and etc, you are required to work. They will tell you just set up everything in order, enjoy your leave and just take a short. look at it from time to time, don't be fooled by this). Conversations with both Head of Deparments are pointless because it will go around in circles without conclusion and not open for any sort of opinion or feedbacks. F2F are not preferred so that it is documented but the answers are very AI prompt driven from them. Very inexperienced Head of Departments that do not know how to steer the ship in and towards long term goals. Everything is hit and run
