Pros

Variety of projects: get exposure to a diverse range of projects and clients, each with unique challenges and opportunities. This keeps the work exciting and constantly evolving. Career development: offers opportunities for professional development and growth. You will constantly learn new skills and gain valuable experience, which can help you advance your career at the agency. Most of the leadership within the agency is bread from within. Collaborative environment: collaborative environment that fosters teamwork and creativity. You will have the opportunity to work with other talented colleagues, learn from them, and contribute your own ideas to projects. Access to cutting-edge technology: really cool tools and software to drive results for their clients. Competitive compensation: include raises, benefits, and other perks.

Cons

As with any agency life, there can be a lot of work... but it really comes down to how you're able to project manage efficiently. If you are not skilled in being able to project manage, you can likely be overwhelmed but the support is there amongst the team to help develop you in areas that you need it.

A Shame

Pros

Lots of hands-on learning opportunities Fast paced Challenging/interesting roles and responsibilities Young workplace/staff Agile, open to ideas to improve operations, productivity, etc. and quick to make changes Freedom of arrival time and leaving time Little oversite, managing Easily take vacation or sick days Chill dress code Little face-to-face client interaction Remote work days 2x/mo Some talented people do pass through to work with If you're a grad looking to put something on your resume and use it as a stepping stone, coming in prepared to get in and get out, this is an okay place.

Cons

A disconnect between sales funnel and onboarding to execution Pressure to be available on nights and weekends Too much work, not enough staff Too much stress Too tight of deadlines Too vague contracts/SOWs Feels scammy - Not providing what was promised, using contract loopholes to calm upset/disappointed clients No pride in work because there's no time to do it to the best with limited time and resources Salaries not always commensurate with work/role No benefits Have to pay for parking Uneducated, unprofessional, demanding clients Don't treat freelancers well, sometimes not paying or paying extremely late Feeling that you're unappreciated, undervalued, easily replaceable, and dispensable. A blame the other employee environment because of such high stress & lack of time Lack of team feeling, no one wants to pick up the slack/help one another High turnover Unstable/seasonal sales resulting in insecure job feeling Unorganized client management Too much "get it done now", "need it now" attitude, This agency has lost of potential but is too concerned with making sales/closing deals instead of doing great work and making clients happy. Doesn't seem to care too much about freelancers, employees, or clients.

Pros

Free snacks to get you through the day Good location in Miami

Cons

No real benefits You have to pay to park in the lot They're dishonest about your role Long hours (9-6) They ask you to work before start time and expect you not to leave on time either (literally) They want you to be a "monkey see, monkey do" type of person - not good for anyone with a brain If you start in a coordinator position, get ready to go around the office and pick up the dirty dishes of the rest of the staff - that's right, part of your duties is that of maid.

Pros

I was always given the freedom by management to come up with solutions that I believed would benefit the client. The teamwork was always excellent.

Cons

Most of the staff is in Miami, but I was working remotely. Like the majority of the crew, I wish I could attend the workplace.

Pros

Despite the inconsistent leadership and constant company structural re-organizing, your coworkers are generally trying their best to actually do their job.

Cons

- Unstable/inconsistent leadership and constant company re-structuring. - No HR department. - Questionable management promises. - Lack of professionalism from leadership, who are the owners of the company and are not held accountable to outside investors. - Leadership asks employees to leave reviews on Glassdoor and other review sites, like Yelp. - Average employee tenure (check LinkedIn for proof) is less than 6 months. - Benefits and salary are subpar compared to other agencies.
