Pros
Generally, the people who worked there, especially non-management, were great people with fun attitudes and were fun to work with. The engineering team was a family within a family with a great culture that valued high software quality and thinking outside of the box rather than just rushing code out the door. Engineering meet ups are awesome. Work-life balance was incredible and we had the option to work onsite or remotely (as an Engineer).
Cons
The company's management really didn't do a good job establishing clear short, medium and long term plans for the business. The different parts of the company had completely different objectives and goals and different incentives for success. The company seemed like it just 'existed' rather than having a clearly defined mission that all departments worked tirelessly to achieve. There was no investment in innovation. Because it's a small company there's really no way to advance within the company.
