Pros

allows you to work with the military without actually being a GS employee.

Cons

This organization is very poorly run. They lied to me from day one. Salary is pretty low and the way they trick you is to offer you a health and welfare benefit. Then they force you to enlist it in either health benefits or THEIR 401K plan. You may not opt out for any reason. They is no support system and most importantly there is no way to defend yourself against something that did or did not happen on the job site, as they are located in a different state. You will have a COR rep, however the COR rep at both places I worked were terrible, lazy, didn't perform their duties, and I never even knew who they were until I went looking for them. Another con of PPDG is this. If there is a snow day and your site CLOSES completely. You will be forced to use the crappy amount of PTO they give you on that day. They do not pay you for inclement weather. Therefore if you have vacation and have a snow day, you will be forced to use that vacation time. Then your PTO request for vacation can be denied due to not enough PTO. Leave without pay is not a option and if you do you will receive counseling that could lead to termination.

Pros

Pay is great with some of the benefits

Cons

Deosn't know what is going on with employees on a day or per month follow up with its employees. Does not provide feedback to employees about job performance . Least favorite employer that I have worked with so far. Did not like how they do not separate sick time and vacation, as well as how the pay is split up.
