Pros

- Plenty of young people, some of them even cute, that is not common in a consulting environnement - No dress code when in office, just when at the customer - Opportunity to improve / learn some IT skills - Good pay for internship

Cons

- Bad work-life balance. Expect to work soon to late everyday and weekends - More IT than financial and risk management in the FRM division. Is a company that sells their own software, therefore you are just focused on that. - You will spend time feeding databases, elaborating analysis sessions (but you rarely have the opportunity to have a critical view of what the software does), most of the time for fine tuning of data. It is true that if you end up in the wrong team you might have little opportunity to learn and few chances to sell you again - Fast career is only for those that are employed in foreign markets. Few meritocracy, depends on the team you end up - Good pay for internship, slow increase. Expect to remain at national base salary. Bonuses respects what said above about career. Junior does not have a bonus

Pros

Friendly environment, a lot of nice and really smart people

Cons

Long hours are the norm (10h is the average, extra hours are not paid) and often hide poor management skills (sometimes it gets to levels that are extremely embarrassing). Processes and systems need to improve a lot because all these aspects produces: - Bad work-life balance; - Lack of organisation and need to rush for deadlines with a lot of useless pressure, especially to justify their high cost of consultancy fees (and a lot of troubles their junior consultants makes) with the customers; - Perform repetitive activities where you learn nothing useful, even on obsolete technologies for some of their products; - No research and development, they are seen as a wasteful of time and resources by ill-informed managers. Evaluation process is not clear and sometimes very subjective such as the career growth path, compensation and bonuses. Salaries are lower than standards compared to other companies with the same job description.
