      Talented Rapt employees deserve better management

      Pros

      Great client and project roster. Creative and flexible approach to creating bespoke design and experiences for each client. Beautiful office space on Maiden Lane

      Cons

      Management was secretive, emotional, and displayed clear favoritism. Company culture was non-existent because nothing came from the top: people barely even say hello to each other, and they were often competitive with each other. Very high turnover and a round of inexplicable layoffs in my brief time there.

      Good experience overall, but the company has some growing pains

      Pros

      Good team, although male heavy for sure. Rapt strives to build a team culture, has an annual company retreat, and often holds team building activities. I worked in the LA office which is quite different than SF, but I loved our LA office. Exciting clients and competitive pay.

      Cons

      The biggest con was alarmingly frequent lay offs and a very high turnover rate. I also felt somewhat micromanaged with heavy team meetings, check ins, roll call, etc.

      opportunities for the taking go-getters succeed in this environment Interesting projects, good client opportunities overall spirit of 'betterment', wanting to improve

      hours can be long, depending on the team not great leadership - better for the the more capable individual not a lot of structure
