Pros

If you’re looking for a place where you don’t have to work (only as a Project Manager), this might be a great fit. Some talented individuals in the team, but they are often overlooked. You may learn to work under extreme pressure, which can help build resilience.

Cons

No Work-Life Balance: Expect extended hours, weekend work, and unrealistic deadlines due to poor project planning. Lack of Career Growth: No opportunities for financial or skill development. If you’re good at your job, they will keep you in the same position forever. High Turnover & Instability: Leadership changes every few months, replacing staff with their own picks, leading to zero consistency. Toxic Leadership: Managers do not advocate for their teams. Instead, they follow orders without question and engage in blame games rather than supporting employee development. Politics & Favoritism: Advancement is based on favoritism, not merit. If you challenge leadership or question decisions, you risk being fired. Racism & Discrimination: Employees from certain backgrounds, especially brown-skinned individuals, are often talked down to and undervalued. Project Management Dysfunction: PMs do not manage projects effectively. Instead, they offload their responsibilities onto developers and BAs, calling it “empowerment.” Unrealistic Timelines: Poor planning forces developers to work overtime and on weekends to meet impractical deadlines. Below-Market Salaries: Compensation is significantly lower than industry standards, making it hard to justify the stress.

Pros

Remote Work friendly and easy access to office

Cons

This place is a disaster. The politics in here are the worst I have ever seen. First off, the founder hates conflict and will never help when his reports are the issue. The Co-CEO was brought back after she was terminated for having so many HR investigations against her. Why the founder did this, I will never understand. PMO isn't bad but they think they run the company. "Senior leadership" would never survive in the real corporate world as they have zero clue how to run a business or lead. This company says they're a tech firm but have zero knowledge about tech. they hire developers who aren't developing anything. The software they program against is Smart Simple and that will lead you no where if you want to use it in the future.

Pros

Fully remote position, company sometimes gives doordash credits,

Cons

The worst management I have ever experienced at any organization. Nearly all of them are rude and disrespect to all team members, with a few "good" ones you are lucky to work with. Also, many of the managers are not knowing what to do properly. If you have doubts, they will ask you to find the answer yourself or ask someone else usually. They try to fix this with useless initiatives to increase "team spirit" but never address the root problem of disrespect and rude behaviour. No bonus last year and they gave a poor excuse of "rebalancing salaries" but raises were lower than the inflation, or none at all. They are telling there is “unlimited vacation,” but system is showing 15 days only, and you are made to feel bad if you want to take leave, even for sickness. Work is very unorganized. Projects are not being planned well. Deadlines are made without proper estimation, and we are always being rushed. Many times, work is being done without full requirements, so teams are working long hours, and still final work is having issues or not finished properly. You will have no balance of work and life, and even on weekend you will wake up stressed because you are thinking you have to go to work today. As others already said, this is dead-end job because the technology is old, not user friendly, difficult to learn, and the code is internal only, so you are not gaining much to use in the future. My suggestion: if you still want to join, ask for at least 15 to 20 percent more salary than you expect. That is only way it might feel okay.
