A lot of cons. This is a good job for a certain type of person. Many others will be miserable. Suggest finding previous employees to talk to before you join.
The people who work at Redstone are some of the most intelligent and passionate individuals I've ever worked with. The projects are challenging and fun, and the work you do really makes a difference in the world. At Redstone, trust is earned - if you work hard and do well, you will be rewarded.
Cons
Some people think that Redstone's size is a "con." I actually think it allows staff to work together better and more frequently.
Work on challenging social and economic development issues. Work with highly talented individuals from top schools, top consulting firms, and who do fun stuff outside work (e.g., climbing, cycling).
Cons
Small team means that personality fit is crucial.
Classic to all consulting, the highly variable nature of the work and travel can be difficult at times.

Redstone values its employees and their ability to work together. We meet every Friday over lunch to discuss current projects, share travel stories, and cultivate new ideas. We also get together monthly outside of work. Some of the things we enjoy together: happy hours, hikes, disc golf, baseball games, bbqs, etc.
