-I am constantly learning from and challenged by smart people with interesting backgrounds that are quite different from mine. -Ideas across the organization are considered and acted on. Everyone contributes and has important input. -I worked with SmartyPal as an educational consultant for a while before joining full-time. I was attracted to working for them because I think the company cares deeply about making a real difference in how people learn. -Management is honest and transparent about the status of the company as a whole and any issues that affect the direction of various projects. -At a start-up that is constantly trying to do better, every day is exciting and different from the last.
